...Presentation coming up...
The Chennai Braves were always behind the 8-ball, with such a big score, they needed a good start but Adam Rossington and Dawid Malan failed to give so. The stand between Carlos Brathwaite and James Fuller looked dangerous for a bit but once Carlos Brathwaite fell, it was just a mere procession from then. A better start could have helped The Chennai Braves to at least get near the score.
With this victory, Northern Warriors jump in the top half of the table. The win was well set up by the batters though. It was the opening stand between Usman Khan and Adam Lyth that bossed the innings. In no time, Northern Warriors scored 100 runs and ended with an above par score of 141. The bowlers had enough run to play with and they did well to keep things under control throughout the game. A comfortable win in the end.
