Presentations coming up...
Earlier in the game, the Vipers batted first and got off to a shaky start, losing wickets at regular intervals. Adam Hose and Wanindu Hasaranga put on a good partnership, but the Knight Riders fought back to restrict the Vipers to 164/8. Ali Khan and Sunil Narine were the standout bowlers for the Knight Riders as they picked up three and two wickets respectively.
Desert Vipers failed to pick timely wickets and that is what cost them the game. Tymal Mills picked two while Dan Lawrence and Sheldon Cottrell chiped in with one. They will look to bounce back and do well in their upcoming games.
A comfortable win for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders! The Vipers started strong by dismissing Sharafu early, but Gous and Pepper's partnership turned the game around for the Knight Riders. Gous' impressive knock of 95 runs off 50 balls led the team to a comfortable victory, with only a few bowlers managing to contain him. The Knight Riders will look to build on this performance for the rest of the tournament.
