Vriitya Aravind wins the Man of the Match award for his exceptional batting. He says, it feels unreal to score the winning total for the side. Mentions he was pretty confident after the quadrangular series. Ends by saying he is happy with 97 runs and to be able to help his side.
Ahmed Raza, the victorious skipper, is in for a chat. Says that he feels they fell 10/20 runs short with the blade but they were surely on song with the ball apart from a catch he dropped, he adds jokingly. Mentions, he has never seen a knock by a 19-year old like Vriitya Aravind.
Andy Balbirnie, the skipper of Ireland, is in for a chat. He says, they lost quick wickets at the top and that hurt them a lot. Mentions, they will try to work out combinations in the middle and come back stronger. Adds, he thinks they bowled really well and says he trusts his players to come back stronger. Ends by saying they are surely eyeing to enter the semis and look to get a win under their belly.
Stay tuned for presentation...
United Arab Emirates' bowlers ran riot with the ball and truly deserved to win the game. Even though they were taken to the cleaners inside the Powerplay. It was their spinners who spun a web around the Irish batters. Karthik Meiyappan was the star with the bal with his three wicket-haul. Every time Ireland looked good UAE did enough to break the stand and get themselves back in the game. The pacers made the most of the pressure built by the spinners and kept chipping away wickets in the fag end of the innings to restrict the batters from chasing the target.
The middle order crisis continues for Ireland. They have lost their touch recently and are unable to find the right combination apart from the opening pair. Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie got off to a bright start. At the end of Pwerplay Ireland were 50/0. But once the spinners came into the attack nothing went Ireland's way. They lost the opening pair in quick succession. Later, they failed to build solid stands in the middle and in the end slipped out by 18 runs. A horrendous show with the blade for Ireland.
United Arab Emirates come out victorious against Ireland for the fourth consecutive time in T20I. Ireland were listless with the blade and in the end were outclassed by United Arab Emirates.

OUT! LBW! Zahoor Khan picks up his second wicket. Khan fires in a yorker, on middle and leg. Young shuffles across and looks to flick it away but misses. He gets pinged on the pads. Zahoor Khan appeals and the umpre raises his dreaded finger.
