Wanindu Hasaranga is the Player of the Match. He says Jaffna Kings were the reigning champions but his players played really well. Adds with injuries around, he had to step up and he had the belief. Reckons he bowls good line and length and backs his strength to take wickets. Shares Isuru Udana might be out with injury but hopes Nuwan Pradeep is okay.
Thisara Perera says it is a bad day as they didn't do well with the bat but he is proud of his team and hopes to bounce back next year. Adds they needed an extra batter but again he says, their batting line up just didn't click. Reckons they don't have any memorable matches this season but it happens in cricket.

Jaffna Kings looked nervy while chasing. Chris Lynn and Rahmanullah Gurbaz were looking good but an unfortunate run out of Gurbaz was the turning point. The floodgates opened after that. The veterans, David Miller and Shoaib Malik gave some hope but it didn't last long. Jaffna Kings were not beaten by a team but by a single player, Wanindu Hasaranga. Earlier, B-Love Kandy batted brilliantly. Mohammad Haris put on a good performance to help them get past 180 which turned out to be enough.
A special performance from a special player. Wanindu Hasaranga has single-handedly taken his team over the line. Six wickets! That is just outstanding in a T20I match. Chasing such a big total, B-Love Kandy had to keep it tight. They bowled well and were brilliant in the field as well. It was their captain though who turned up in the knockout match. He took two wickets thrice in an over. Just too extraordinary by Wanindu Hasaranga as his spell made a big difference.
