That is it from this game then! The action from this tournament continues on the 26th of this month. The Northern Superchargers will be in action and they will be up against the Trent Rockets. That game will begin at 11.05 pm IST (5.35 pm GMT). Till then, goodbye and take care!
David Willey is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his brilliance with the ball. He says that they wanted to start the tournament well and they are happy to have done that. Feels that while it is important to bowl to our strengths, it is also important to communicate on the field and adapt to the conditions. Credits the backroom staff for the work they have put in with the players. Tells that Josh Little is a world-class bowler and it is great to have him in the team. Ends by saying that it was great to contribute to the team's win.
Quite an easy win for Welsh Fire! It was never in doubt once their pacers bowled brilliantly and restricted Manchester Originals to just 86. The openers, Jonny Bairstow and Tom Kohler-Cadmore came out all guns blazing and got them off to a brilliant start. Both fell but Joe Clarke and Tom Abell continued the good work and gave them a quick win. A good start for Welsh Fire whereas, it is an equally bad start to the campaign for Manchester Originals!

NO BALL! Paul Walter tries to bang in a bumper but this one goes over the head of the batter. Remember, in Hundred, when a ball goes over the head of the batter, it is called a no ball. The next ball will not be a Free Hit though.
