MAN OF THE MATCH AND SERIES, Aiden Markram says the ton meant a lot, a lot of relief. States it was a great knock by Miller, he is in the form of his life and he made it look easy and he deserved a ton. Ends by saying it has been a good summer for him and the team and the team is moving in the right direction.
Scott Edwards says he felt they were almost there with the ball. He feels they could have restricted them to a lower score. Adds they needed someoene to get a big score. Adds it is tough to bowl with the boundaries being short but they batted really well. States they learnt a lot and got a lot of experience, the youngsters have been good and that is exciting to see.
... PRESENTATION TIME ...
For South Africa, Sisanda Magala was exceptional and he was the star with a fifer. Marco Jansen and Lungi Ngidi did a good job too. Markram can also be happy with his performace but Tabraiz Shamsi will be slightly disappointed. Overall though, the hosts will be very happy with how things turned out. They needed to win both the games and they did.
Yet another thumping win for the hosts! To be honest, it was all set up by the batters, Markram especially who scored a brilliant ton to take his side to a mammoth score. In reply, Netherlands did start well, the top three played exciting cricket but they failed to score something significant. They needed a special effort by someone but that did not come.
