Angelo Mathews says he didn't realize until it was announced about his hat-trick. Adds they had a good start by Hazratullah Zazai and then ended well by James Neesham and Colin Munro. Abhimanyu Mithun bowled well too. Shares they still have to improve in certain places.
Abhimanyu Mithun wins the PLAYER OF THE MATCH AWARD. He says it was a good team effort. They had a decent total but they executed the plans. Adds it was important to pick wickets regularly.

The game turned into Warrior's favour when Colin Munro walked out to bat. Northern Warriors were looking favourless but once Munro stepped in, he batted with intent and got his team to a par total. James Neesham too played a small cameo in the fag end which really helped Northern Warriors to get over 100 which turned out to be enough as the bowlers did their job.
A comfortable win in the end for Northern Warriors but it wasn't that easy untill Moeen Ali was out there. He single-handedly kept the hopes alive while wickets were falling at the other end. However, Angelo Mathews with the hat-trick in the final over did the job for his team. This was though a chaseable target for Morrisville Samp Army but few of their batters played wild shots which didn't help them. Angelo Mathews though will be very happy with how things went. They kept it tight and bowled according to the plan. James Neesham and Abhimanyu Mithun ended with two each while Angelo Mathews ended with three.
