Sunrisers Eastern Cape, batting first, found themselves in a precarious position at 4/3, but a fighting half-century from Marco Jansen helped them scrape together 113 runs. Unfortunately, Jansen's efforts were a lone bright spot, as the rest of the batting lineup failed to make a significant impact. The Pretoria Capitals bowling unit deserves credit for their exceptional performance, with Daryn Dupavillon claiming three wickets and Eathan Bosch, Jimmy Neesham, and Senuran Muthusamy taking two each. Migael Pretorius also chipped in with a wicket.
The Sunrisers Eastern Cape bowlers, despite not having a large total to defend, put up a respectable performance. They managed to pick up four Pretoria wickets, applying pressure in the middle overs. Richard Gleeson claimed two wickets, while Craig Overton and Ottneil Baartman took one each.
Pretoria Capitals successfully chased down a low total, thanks to a solid partnership between Marques Ackerman and Liam Livingstone. The team got off to a flying start, with Will Jacks and Rahmanullah Gurbaz adding 23 runs inside the first three overs. However, the top order stumbled in the next few overs, leaving Pretoria looking a bit nervy. But Marques Ackerman and Livingstone steadied the ship with a crucial 5th-wicket partnership, guiding their team to victory.
What a day it's been for the Pretoria Capitals at Centurion! They've wrapped up a dominating victory, and to add the cherry on top, they've also secured a crucial bonus point that could prove invaluable later in the tournament. The icing on the cake was the big hit on the last ball of the 16th over, sealing their comprehensive win in style!

SIX! BANG! Marques Ackerman gets the job done for his side! Bonus point secured by the Capitals. Not the best of deliveries by Jansen as this is an off-pace delivery, right in the slot, on off, Marques Ackerman stays low to make the connection and holds his shape to whack it over deep mid-wicket for a six. Pretoria Capitals win by 6 wickets with 4 overs to spare!

What happened there? Why did the batters not run? Full and outside of, Marques Ackerman swipes it on the bounce towards deep square leg where Zak Crawley overruns a bit as he moves to his right but does well to stick out his right hand. Marques Ackerman slips as well while running and decides to return back and not take the run.
