That is it from this game then! This win for Peshawar Zalmi means the Kings now have been knocked out of the tournament. Another game follows and that is a clash between Multan and United. It begins at 1930 IST (1400 GMT). Till then, goodbye and take care!
Saim Ayub has been awarded the MAN OF THE MATCH for his excellent performance with the bat!
Wahab Riaz says Arshad Iqbal began really well and there was some nice bounce and he only wanted to hit the right lines and lengths. Adds Fakhar Zaman is a dangerous batter and he is pleased he got him out. Mentions Saim Ayub batted really well and he is one to look out for, Babar Azam was also brilliant and both were really good.
Lahore Qalandars just were not upto the mark in this game! Maybe they were a little too laxed as they have already qualified. They dropped quite a few catches and the bowling just was not at its best. Zalmi on the other hand, probably put in their best performance int he tournament so far. They made a few changes to their batting order and that worked out, they will be disappointed with their bowling in the middle overs but overall, it was a superb show from them.
A convincing win for Zalmi but at one time, it seemed like it would be a massive one. After an outstanding performance from their batters where they managed to put up over 200, their bowlers began brilliantly. They had Lahore 4 down for not a lot but Shaheen and Talat then batted brilliantly. They two added over 100 and at one point, revived the slightest of hopes for their side. However that was too much of an ask but Lahore will be pleased with how close they came in the end.
