Nurul Hasan, the skipper of Rangpur Riders says that things are going fine and they are looking to do well in the coming games before the playoffs. Mentions that it is not about foreign and local players and it is all about team effort. Adds that their openers have been playing well and have setting up the momentum. Talks about the struggle of their bowlers at the death and he feels that it is all about momentum and they need to get the momentum back with good death bowling.

Rony Talukdar is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH! He says that it feels great and adds that this innings is very special as the team has won. Mentions that he plays the ball on the merit and does not think about the bowler and that is how he likes to play.

Mushfiqur Rahim, the skipper of Sylhet Strikers says that one cannot replace the experience with anyone but they should not think about it and feels that their bowlers did not bowl well in this game. Sylhet Strikers, well, they have been the team to beat this season. However, they just could not put up a fight with the ball after Towhid Hridoy and Mushfiqur Rahim took them to a decent total at the end of the first innings. They clearly missed the services of the likes of Mashrafe Mortaza, Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim and they would be hoping to come up with better plans and execution in the next game.

Rangpur Riders bowlers could only find two wickets in this game but they did well in the first half to keep things under control which meant that they were not chasing a huge target going into the second half. However, it was still a stiff one but Rony Talukdar was at his belligerent best and got able support from Naim as the duo put on 100-run stand in just 59 deliveries. Rony Talukdar departed after a whirlwind knock of 66 from 35 balls and Naim scored 45 from 32 balls. Both of them did not finish off the chase but they had enough batting in the tank to reach home with ease as the experienced Malik and the skipper Nurul Hasan finished the chase off with two overs to spare.

A dominating win for Rangpur Riders! They have won five in a row now and are playing like a very confident unit at the moment. They have made an absolute mockery of a challenging total of 170 here and have handed Sylhet Strikers their third loss in the tournament. Two of those losses have come against Rangpur Riders for Sylhet Strikers and they surely missed the experience of some of their big-ticket bowlers in this game.
