That's it from this match! The action in the CPL continues as St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will lock horns against Barbados Royals at 7.00 pm local (11.00 pm GMT). Do join us for that. Till then, goodbye and cheers!
Roston Chase is up for a chat (Stepping in for Faf du Plessis), he says that he is happy with the performance. Credits the bowlers for sticking to the basics and finish the game off.
Nicholas Pooran, the losing captain, says that he was not happy with the bowling effort. Mentions that it was unacceptable that the bowlers gave away too many freebies. Tells that the journey is always tough but they will look to bounce back.
Roston Chase IS THE MAN OF THE MATCH, he says that he enjoyed the cover drive when he was playing. Mentions that he was just seeing the ball and was hitting them hard. On asked about his jersey which has written 'Young Ross' on it, he informs that it was something his friends gifted him and that stuck with him.
...THE PRESENTATION...
Earlier in the day, it was a superb batting performance from Roston Chase. His 85 from 50 helped his team post a total of 149. Later, it was a complete bowling performance from Saint Lucia Kings and they win the match comfortably.
Guyana Amazon Warriors had the worst of starts with the bat. They were 4 down inside the Powerplay. Hafeez and Malik went after wayward deliveries. Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran stitched a much-required partnership but some lazy running from Hetmyer saw him walk back to the hut. Pooran was the only hope in the end for GAW. He hit some lusty blows but departed back as he was looking to up the ante. Odeon gave a little hope in the end but his hitting alone wasn't enough for it to chase down. In the end, a disappointing outing for the Warriors.
A superb bowling display from Saint Lucia Kings. They were on the front foot from the start as they scalped 4 wickets inside the Powerplay. Obed McCoy and Alzarri Joseph started brilliantly as they made the ball move. The game-changing moment was when Shimron Hetmyer was run out and after that it was all Kings. It was a complete bowling performance from Saint Lucia Kings and they will be very happy with themselves. Jeavor Royal was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped three wickets.
The King has ruled against the Warriors. A commanding performance from Saint Lucia Kings see them win comfortably by 51 runs.

OUT! TIMBER! This was a slower ball on middle, Imran Tahir moves across and makes room for himself. He gets low and tries to slog-sweep it but misses it completely. The ball goes under his willow and disturbs the furniture behind him. Saint Lucia Kings win by 51 runs.
