For Stars, their batters just couldn't get going. They got off to starts but could not capitalise. Harper did play well but he fell when they needed him to bat till the end. Quite a few of them fell playing rash shots, the batters can be disappointed with their overall effort.
That's a fine win for the hosts! Credit to their bowlers and credit to Short who was excellent in his captaincy. He set the tone as he got the first wicket in the first over! After that, they kept picking timely wickets. Even when their bowlers were getting hit, they did manage to come back. Pope and Boyce were brilliant. Thornton did his job well and Overton and Scott bowled well in patches.
