That’s it from this game then! CPL action continues as Barbados Royals will take on Guyana Amazon Warriors. That match will begin at 1930 IST (1400 GMT) on the 18th of September. Till then, take care and goodbye!
Ravi Rampaul is the Player of the Match. He says he was ready to bat as well. Adds that the atmosphere was electric and they enjoyed it. Shares they didn't start well in the competition but they are happy to get back the momentum with two back-to-back wins. Tells they are not thinking too far and are taking games one-by-one.
...Presentation coming up...
For Trinbago Knight Riders, they just needed a couple of partnerships and a few decent innings and they got that from Tim Seifert and Colin Munro. Both added 67 and that stand more or less sealed the deal. It did get close towards the end, a lot closer than Trinbago Knight Riders would have liked but they did manage to get over the line.
In reply, the Jamaican bowlers bowled really well. They got two early and did not let Trinbago Knight Riders score freely for most parts of the chase. Mohammad Amir was excellent, he was the pick but the likes of Migael Pretorius, Chris Green and Imad Wasim did well but they just did not have enough runs to play with. Maybe another 15 runs and things could have been different.
It was all set up by their bowlers as a combined effort kept Jamaica Tallawahs to a low score, 116 to be precise. Even that at one stage looked far away but Jamaica have to thank Fabian Allen for getting them to that mark.
A win for Trinbago Knight Riders! Probably the chase wasn’t as easy as we thought it would but the important part is, they have gotten over the line.
