That's it from the coverage of this game. The action in the Hundred continues with the Men's team now gearing up to go up against each other. The first ball will be at 11 pm IST (5.30 pm GMT), but you can switch tabs and join us now for the build-up. ADIOS! Until, next time!
Ellyse Perry, the captain of Birmingham Phoenix Women, wins the Player of the Match award for her outstanding knock. The captain expressed her satisfaction, saying she was "chuffed for the girls," who played with a lot of spirit and positivity. She was pleased to finally secure a victory. Reflecting on the game, she noted that it took some time for the team to get going, but once they were in, it was easy to find the gaps and pick off boundaries. She felt their total was defendable, acknowledging that the opponents chased well, but holding their nerve at the end was awesome.
Earlier in the innings, Birmingham Phoenix Women struggled to get off to a flier start as well. They were kept under control in the inital phase of the match, but finding boundaries in the death became quite easier, which Ellyse Perry and Sterre Kalis capitalized on and gave a good total for their bowlers to defend. Which they did it in the very end, all thanks to Charis Pavely getting rid of two set-batters in her set of 5.
The start wasn' that great for Trent Rockets Women! They were slow to get off the blocks and then the rate just kept getting higher and higher. Natalie Sciver-Brunt played brilliantly but she lacked sup[port at the other end. They needed someone to play a superb cameo but that was not the case. Heather Graham did get it down to the last ball where they needed a biggie but she failed to do so. That is two losses in a row for Trent Rockets Women!
An outstanding effort from Birmingham Phoenix Women to defend this! We felt this was just about par but their bowlers have rose to the occasion and have done what was needed. Finally, they get a win on the board and they will hope this is the start of many. They began well with the ball, kept it tight and got the early wicket. They then put on the brakes and when the momentum was just about shifting, they got the wicket needed. Charis Pavely was brilliant, Ellyse Perry too delivered and so did Katie Levick! They always held their nerve when they wre under pressure and came on top.

OUT! RUN OUT! That should be the end of the game! Fuller and on off, this is hit through mid-wicket. They take one and have to go for a second. The throw is to the bowler who collects and takes the bails off. Run out. The dive does not save Natasha Wraith! Now a biggie is needed from the last ball.

Is that a run out? The umpire takes it upstairs to confirm. The replays do confirm that Alana King is short of the crease here and she has to walk back.
