USA just did not have enough on the board. Their bowlers were quite disciplined and did manage to take wickets at timely intervals but they needed more runs on the board. However, they were rocked early by Karan KC who picked up 4 in no time. Shayan Jahangir managed to score a ton but despite that, they only managed to get a total of just over 200 which was easily chased in the end.
A very convincing win for Nepal then! To be honest, it is the bowlers who set it up for them by restricting USA to a moderate total. With the bat, they had small, small partnerships which was exactly what they needed. Bhim Sharki was the mainstay for them and the others played around him.
