The President of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), Snehasish Ganguly, said that star Indian batsman Virat Kohli will receive a memento prior to India’s match against South Africa in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. On Sunday, November 5, in Kolkata’s famous Eden Gardens, the two giants will square off.
In discussing the festivities for the former India captain’s big day, Snehasish Ganguly revealed that in addition to receiving a souvenir, a special cake had been made for Kohli, who turned 35 on November 5. The president of CAB also said that there would be light and sound performances at the game in addition to fireworks.
“There is a significant demand for the ticket. For the contest, we are completely ready. During the game, we have a few programs scheduled. The CAB president informed the media prior to the highly anticipated match that Virat Kohli would receive a tiny keepsake, a specially made cake, fireworks following the match, and light and sound shows.
The 58-year-old continued, mentioning the surface at Eden Gardens and predicting a high-scoring game that would help both the bowlers and the hitters. He continued by saying that the supporters were expecting it to be the greatest match of the current ODI World Cup and that the tickets were in high demand, having already sold out completely.
